چکیده

Abstract A series of supported Ni-Mo catalysts were synthesised through a deposition-co-precipitation method (DcP) and investigated in combined steam dry reforming. The prepared by Yttria-Stabilised Zirconia (YSZ), Gadolinium-Doped Ceria (GDC) Stabilised (CSZ) with improved carbon tolerance have the potential to be used as anodes Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC). These will applied anode supporting layer where most internal reforming reaction takes place. compared conventional catalysts, Al2O3 TiO2 supports are typical for catalysts. catalytic performance according support materials was observed sequence Al2O3 > YSZ > TiO2 > CSZ > GDC. Formation Mo2C activity towards reaction. Increasing Mo loading Ni catalyst coke resistance properties; however, it reduced activity.

Simulation of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell with External Steam Methane Reforming and Bypass

Fuel flexibility is a significant advantage of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and can be attributed to their high operating temperature. The eligibility of a combined heat and power (CHP) system has been investigated as a new power generation methode, in this study. Natural gas fueled SOFC power systems via methane steam reforming (MSR) yield electrical conversion efficiencies exceeding 50% and...

Nickel catalysts for internal reforming in molten carbonate fuel cells

Natural gas may be used instead of hydrogen as fuel for the molten carbonate fuel cell (MCFC) by steam reforming the natural gas inside the MCFC, using a nickel catalyst (internal reforming). The severe conditions inside the MCFC, however, require that the catalyst has a very high stability. In order to find suitable types of nickel catalysts and to obtain more knowledge about the deactivation ...

Experimental Investigation of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Stack using Direct Reforming Natural Gas

In this study, a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stack has been successfully fabricated and tested by using direct natural gas. The main objective of this research was to achieve optimal long-term performance of the SOFC stack without carbon deposition by using low-cost natural gas as a fuel. The stack configuration was improved by a new interconnect design and made of cost-effective raw materials...
